The Stanford Optical Society is having its first outreach event of the year with an in-person visit to the Exploratorium in San Francisco!
- On December 2nd, 6:30-9:30pm, the Exploratorium is having an After Dark event
- On December 4th, from about 11am - 3pm, the Exploratorium is having a daytime event for visitors of all ages
At either event, we will be showing off and explaining our demos including a laser harp, water waveguide, fluorescence, optical communication, giant Schlieren imaging system, and more! No prior experience or specific optics knowledge is needed, and volunteers will receive a free meal, drinks (at After Dark), and a Stanford Optical Society Outreach t-shirt!
